Listen and Read the Scripture

Listen and Read the Scripture (3)

Calling all who want to know more of God's Word to join us in this one year journey of listening and reading the New Testament.

The aim of this journey is to get to know the big picture of the Bible story and to have fellowship in the Word.

We will meet at the GCC Ministry Center every other Sunday @ 2:00 pm starting from 5 May. Each session, we will go through one book of the New Testament.

The participants are required to listen to the book before the session and read the book again after the session.

The Gospel of Matthew.

Opening Prayer: Psalm 119:89-97

89 Forever, O Lord, your word
is firmly fixed in the heavens.
90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
you have established the earth, and it stands fast.
91 By your appointment they stand this day,
for all things are your servants.
92 If your law had not been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life.
96 I have seen a limit to all perfection,
but your commandment is exceedingly broad.
97 Oh how I love your law!
It is my meditation all the day.

The Gospel of Mark is the first Gospel to be written.
