Exodus is the defining redemptive act of the Old Testament and the foreshadow of the gospel of the New Testament. It is the stuff of the true gospel. It is the journey of the true gospel. It is the life of the true gospel. As we struggle to live out the gospel in today’s world – this journey with the Exodus narrator will bless us with full blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This class will be the first in a 2-part series, going through the first half of the Book of Exodus. Part 2 will commence some time in 2021.

Genesis is the backbone of Scripture. The New Testament authors quoted from it 200 times -- far more than any other Book. In a world so heavily influenced by social media, the Internet culture and peer pressure, Genesis gives us the worldview of GOd, revealing to us His priorities, plans, power, passion and provision. The Book of Genesis is the inheritance and treasure of God for his people.

This is a 5-week class (10 hours) on the Book of Micah. Its aims are to read Micah in detail finding its message for the church today.

Each week Rob and Eugene will read through a short section of the text explaining the structure, Hebrew word meaning, the rhetoric, and historical context as we read (and maybe we may launch into preaching). After each reading we will discuss the relevance of the text to today. Pastor Ian will be our pastoral guide guiding our discussion and gathering the text into prayer for us at the end of each session.

We hope this will be a spring of fresh water in the word of God for us in the midst of this lock down.
